About the Workshop:
With years of experience as a performer and educator, Esad Halilovic from the Dusha Connection emphasizes the connection between physical technique and the resulting sound. Using an interactive approach focused on student needs, the workshop will explore the following topics:
- Drumming Techniques: Focus on the Moeller (whipping) technique, stick control, rebounding double strokes, and the Heel-Toe technique
- Exercise Systems: Developing a structured practice routine to achieve better results in less time
- The Art of Improvisation: Creative freedom behind the kit

About Esad Halilovic: Esad Halilovic, a drummer and cultural mediator based in Vienna, grew up in Belgrade/Serbia and initially studied privately before continuing percussion studies at the Vienna Jazz Conservatory. He leads the ensemble Dusha Connection jazz, which has released three albums. Through his international performances, Halilovic also offers workshops and master classes.
