After years of unfair play in women’s sports, the PWHL has broken barriers and provided women with a league where they can pursue their hockey-playing dreams in a professional setting. This 23-minute inspirational and motivational documentary, “It’s Been a Long Time Coming," directed by Emma May Beckett and Rylee Cawthorne, tells the stories of the female hockey players, coaches, parents, and important female hockey figures of the Toronto Leaside Wildcats, one of Ontario’s most prominent female hockey associations. We encourage you to wear your jersey to the premiere to show your love and support for Leaside's female hockey community.
