About this Event
The motive force behind our endeavor at Clio’s is fostering conversation about books and ideas. Our community programming continues with the monthly book club, "I'm on Fire": Books about Desire, Dreams, and Adventure. This month the club will read by Carmen Maria Machado, a short story collection and finalist for the National Book Award in 2017.
Full of women haunted by their desires and the desire directed at them, these stories twist the supernatural and mundane in our bedrooms, closets, and attics.
