"Good Trouble," with Sen. Cory Booker

In February 2025, Senator Booker delivered a historic 25-hour speech on the Senate floor — the longest in U.S. Senate history — sounding the alarm on threats to democratic institutions, civil rights, and vulnerable communities. The speech’s call to collective action reverberated across the country.

At this event, Senator Booker will be in conversation with GLIDE CEO Dr. Gina Fromer about what it means to stand up, show up, and refuse to give up. Like Senator Booker, Dr. Gina Fromer has spent her lifetime fighting for marginalized communities.

Recently, Senator Booker has been on the ground in Alabama, fighting to protect the Voting Rights Act. At a moment when the right to vote is under attack, his advocacy represents the frontlines of the democratic struggle. In his new book , he argues principles are strategic keys to the survival and success of our democracy.
