Join author Laura Sang Hee Scherling at the PGH Book Festival at the Carnegie Library (Oakland) on May 31st, 2026. Scherling will be signing her new book Future of Hacking and sharing cybersecurity awareness materials between 10 am and 5 pm.

The Future of Hacking (Bloomsbury, 2025) explores the evolving landscape of cybersecurity and ethical hacking. Drawing on research and expert interviews, the book explores the real-world impact of cybercrime, internet freedom, and hacker history.
Scherling will also have copies of her other recent book History of Product Design, and Ethics in Design available.
