"From the Wilderness, A Gift" Torah Study+Kabbalat Shabbat with Shel Maala!

Join us for a Shabbat evening of liberatory Torah study, Kabbalat Shabbat, and potluck dinner. Binya will teach to the theme of Torah being offered "from the wilderness," inviting discussion on boundaries, ownership, and universality, and how they all play into the holiness of this world. We can't wait to see what insights and wisdom we will generate together over dinner and study, while affirming our shared commitments to diasporism, Palestinian liberation, and Judaism beyond zionism. Featuring the yiddish sounds of our very own local treasure, Exiliahu, who will share timeless tunes of Jewish resistance to oppression, from the ghetto to Gaza.
