About this Event
"After 30 years away, I returned to Mexico for the first time, carrying with me the weight of an 'American Dream' and a longing for home and family. EL REGRESO was born from that journey. It is a meditation on belonging, identity, death and rebirth. It is an exploration of what it means to dance between worlds yet belong to none. While the film has flown across borders to film festivals in the U.S, Mexico, Paris, Colombia and the UK, this Atlanta premiere brings the journey full circle to the city where my dream of filmmaking took root."
