With the Historic 250th Anniversary of the start of the United States of America means different things to different people. Come to one or all of the three workshops and make history by researching and preserving what is important to YOU!Upcoming Workshops:

- 4/25 2-3pm "Caring for your Collections" at the Oberlin Public Library
- 5/16 11-12:30pm "You Only Have a Death Announcement, What Now?" (Genealogy) at the Elyria Public Library Main Branch
Professor Gina Perez from Oberlin College returns to the Lorain Historical Society for her workshop on "Collecting Oral Histories" on Saturday, March 14 from 10:00 - noon. This training session will focus on the practical aspects of gathering oral histories and will offer opportunity to practice conducting an oral history session with others in the class.
