About this Programme

Learn more about Charlie, a cheerful sand crab who delights in sweeping the beach in this storytelling and craft session of the book "Charlie the Sweeper" by author, illustrator Sarah Ang.

About the Storytellers

Sarah Ang is a picture book author and illustrator who seamlessly blends her scientific background with the world of art. Her passion lies in the exploration of life with nature, and her favourite mediums are watercolour and ink. She is the creator of " The River That Brings Us Life", a true story of the Singapore River. Her most recent book, "Charlie the Sweeper" is a heartwarming tale about a crab who meets amazing creatures on the beach and discovers he is amazing too.

Cecilia Koh is the owner of independent online bookstore, Natventure, which is an extension of her passion in books, nature, adventures and working with young people. She has an ever growing To Be Read (TBR) list, and a huge fan of beautifully illustrated picture books.
