A fun and spirited adult spelling bee team competition vying for the Champion trophy and title "best spellers". Six teams representing local businesses will show off their spelling skills. A social hour with a silent auction starts the evening activities. Dinner follows the social hour with food provided by Market Street Grill, Onancock, as the event's Queen Bee Sponsor. The "bee" competition follows dinner. The evening ends with awards.The six teams, to raise awareness of literacy and funds for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, have each decorated a duck to seek votes/donations. The most popular duck will be announced at Spell Rite on April 16.
