The William A. Neal Museum of the Health Sciences is hosting a documentary screening of “Beacon Light: A History of Ohio Valley General Hospital and Ohio Valley Medical Center,” a history of the Wheeling hospital that was central to the region from its founding in 1890 until its closing in 2019. In addition, the event will celebrate the opening of an exhibit about the OVGH School of Nursing, the first school of nursing in West Virginia.
