“A Story of Hope” is about the barriers to and importance of education in Kenya. Created by Ryan Morrison and Moses Bomett, the film showcases the work of Rising Daisies in action.Donors, supporters, family, and friends of Rising Daisies are invited to a special screening and fundraising event on Friday, May 17, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Des Moines Community Playhouse.
We’ll watch the film, invite audience Q&A, and celebrate as a community the work Rising Daisies is doing to partner, empower, and equip secondary and post-secondary students in the developing world.
