Andy Huggins has been a stand-up comic for over 45 years — at this point, he’s honestly stopped counting. A true lifer in the craft, Andy has opened for everyone from Ray Charles to Jeff Dunham, and his first comedy special is currently streaming on Amazon Prime and multiple platforms.
Most people across America discovered Andy through his standout run on America’s Got Talent in 2018. The nation watched as Howie Mandel recognized him instantly from their early days hustling sets together at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles — a surreal full-circle moment for a comic who has quietly outworked most of the industry for decades.
Long before that, Andy was already a Texas legend. He was one of the original Texas Outlaw Comics, alongside Bill Hicks, Ron Shock, and others, reshaping Houston’s comedy identity in the 1980s at the historic Comedy Workshop.
And in the new era of comedy, he’s still racking up wins. Andy has become a breakout favorite on Don’t Tell Comedy, with multiple viral clips and millions of combined views, proving that at 74 years old he’s not just still in the game — he’s still climbing.
