Join us for the welcome meeting for our 2024 Fringe concert "A Bohemian Life." Featuring music from Matilda, Schimgadoon, Priscilla, 9 to 5, Fiddler on the Roof, Groundhog Day, Mary Poppins, Bugsy Malone and many more going through all aspects of life! Meet the production team, find out more about the concert and sing a bit of a group number to get started. If you are new to the Bohemians, we will also hold relaxed auditions for new members to join us.Audition information:
? If you are new to The Bohemians, please pick a song from a show about any aspect of life to sing, and bring either the sheet music for piano accompaniment or send us the backing track you want to use. Our auditions will be held in private with just our lovely production team and a member of our committee in a really relaxed and friendly environment. Please email [email protected] to register your interest so we can plan how many audition slots we might need.
?If you are an existing member of The Bohemians, you don't need to audition to take part, but if you would like to be considered for a solo or duet, please film yourself singing a song that would fit the theme of our concert. You need to send it in to Shona via [email protected] by Sunday 28th April, or if you would prefer to audition in person, you can do so on the evening of the welcome meeting.
Rehearsals:
Every Thursday at 7:30pm from 2 May to 15 August. Plus Sunday afternoons 11 & 18 August (and perhaps the 4th if we need it). All in East Craig's Church Centre
Dress rehearsal on 21 August at New Town Church, George Street, Edinburgh. Evening rehearsal, time TBC.
