On Saturday, June 6, 2026, Outcast Church will ﬁll Burcham Park for a unique evening that is part birthday party, part concert, and 100% community. The “1Love Summer Jam” marks a signiﬁcant milestone, the church’s ﬁrst year in ministry, while serving as a primary fundraiser for local missions and community outreach programs.
The event title serves a dual purpose: it is a celebratory nod to Outcast Church’s ﬁrst anniversary and a tribute to Bob Marley’s timeless anthem, "One Love." Much like the song, the event invites the Lawrence community to set aside diﬀerences for an evening to "get together and feel alright." After a year of growth and fellowship, the church looks forward to celebrating this foundation of unity with the entire city.
The evening’s entertainment will be anchored by 2nd Pour, a high-octane group known for electric chemistry and genre-bending setlists. Their performance promises a journey through classic rock legends like CCR, the Eagles, and the Doobie Brothers; the soul of Stevie Wonder and Alicia Keys; the modern grit of Jelly Roll; and the worshipful sounds of Brandon Lake and Matthew West. 2nd Pour doesn’t just play music, they bring the party, transforming the secular into the sacred through a unique melding of heart and sound.
Outcast Church isn’t your typical Sunday morning experience. We’re authentic, a bit messy, and unapologetically unashamed to lift up our three great loves: Jesus, great music, and each other. The 1Love Summer Jam is the perfect expression of that vibe, bringing people together in the park to celebrate what we’ve built this past year.
In addition to great music, the 1Love Summer Jam will feature an exciting lineup of local food truck favorites to satisfy every craving. Attendees can enjoy delicious items from the following participating vendors:
• KC Corndog Company – Home of the legendary Honey Dog.
• Silly Squeezers – Serving gourmet citrus beverages to keep you refreshed.
• That Gelato and Sorbetto Guy – Serving joy, one scoop at a time.
The event begins at 6:00 PM, with the concert running from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and join the expected crowd of 150+ for a night of music, community building, and great food. All proceeds from the "1Love Summer Jam" are dedicated to supporting local missions and outreach initiatives, further cementing Outcast Church’s commitment to radical love and acceptance for "the lost and the least."
