PLEASE NOTE: There are two swap slots available. Please select the ticket for your preferred slot and come along at this time. We do this to avoid overcrowding at the rails ;-).
In the last 15 years, clothing production has roughly doubled and it is estimated that the average garment is worn only ten times before disposal*.
The Swap Club Glasgow offers you a chance to switch up your wardrobes in a way that doesn't cost the planet, or your back pocket. No money is exchanged for garments at our events; instead, points are given for the items you bring and you spend these points at our regular events.
As a small community, we can’t solve overconsumption but we can exercise our power of choice.
How it works
Bring a maximum of 10 items of clothing, footwear or accessories freshly cleaned and ready to go on the rails. We are not a dumping ground and therefore will not accept items with holes or stains so don't expect to see this! We are an inclusive event, ideal for ages 16 - 100! There is no age or size limit on sustainable style so expect sizes from 6-24.
We operate a point system. This is a community-driven swap where we accept items from high street up to high end. All items must be clean and in good condition with no holes, stains, rips, broken zips, or scuffs. Any points not claimed can be carried over to our next swap event happening in March.
Items not permitted
Swimwear, underwear, nightwear, earrings, electrical items, furniture, or sharp objects.

Please note: We stagger entry to avoid overcrowding and reduce your waiting time when checking in. Please arrive at the time stated on your ticket - thank you!
We want our events to be inclusive. If the ticket cost will be a barrier, please select the ‘Pay What You Can' ticket option. There are 15 available in total - 5 for each of the 2 swap time slots.
Your style doesn’t need to be a disposable microtrend. Our aim is to swap behaviours, knowledge, and clothes. We’re so looking forward to seeing you!
