As 2025 kicks off we look back on 2024 with much grace. The festival was a big success and we would like to thank everyone that was involved. To the crew and the bands and all our guests that attended, it couldn’t have happened without you. We think now is the perfect time for our first announcement for this year’s special 25th anniversary of the Andkristni festival.
FORTERESSE - Hailing for Quebec to make their debut show in Iceland. With very few shows planned for this year their performance at our festival will be a rare chance to see this legendary band.
AUÐN - For a long time they’ve been a household name when it comes to Icelandic black metal. With countless shows all across the world and 3 full length albums under their belt their an act you definitely don’t want to miss.
MÚR - Easily the most exciting new Icelandic metal band around these days. Their blend of prog metal mixed with post rock makes their sound totally unique. They recently released their first LP through Century media records and followed it up by touring all across Europe supporting Finnish prog metal band Wheel.
MONDERNTE: German solo project based in Iceland, a perfect blend of atmospheric black metal and ambient music it is truly a performance you don’t want to miss.
