About this Event
The purpose of our women’s event is:
· To connect women in leadership with those who are aspiring to become leaders in business/entrepreneurship, in corporate/government/non-profit or in the community at-large,
· To allow our attendees the opportunity to network and connect with their peers as well as local business owners, professional role models, mentors and other influential women in our community,
· To equip women with valuable skills and knowledge by discussing the difficulties that can stand in the way of success, and how to overcome those difficulties as women and particularly as women of color,
· To connect women to financial, educational, well-being and other resources within our community for personal and professional development and growth, and
· To build a ‘Sisterhood’ for women in leadership that supports the ‘whole-woman’ – to include emotional, spiritual/well-being, financial and career building.
Kimberly Janelle is a certified tax nerd who fell in love with tax in 2007 during her first tax season with H&R Block. She went on to complete her Associates degree in Accounting in 2011. At the suggestion of her father, she took a chance at acting and modeling in 2014 and, as a result, was signed to three agencies within the Midwest. Her commercial work includes appearances with Joyce Meyer Ministries, Indiana Grand Casino, Skechers, Community Hospital, and Keller & Keller law firm, in addition to an online presence for AT&T, and a few political campaigns
While other actors were on set talking about their agencies, Kimberly was on set discussing mileage logs and write-offs. As a result, **Kimberly Janelle Enterprises** was born. In 2022, she expanded her business and became a financial coach. Kimberly helps entrepreneurs holistically with their finances, teaching them the money principles of business that no one else is talking about.
Kimberly is a trailblazer, being the first female-owned company to offer programming at The Palladium in Carmel for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. She is a trendsetter, making it popular to discuss taxes in business and money for legacy building. She is also a visionary, aiming to open the first financial services office in Anderson to educate and serve middle-income families and empower entrepreneurs.
