Formé en 1979 dans le Worcestershire, en pleine effervescence post-punk, And Also The Trees s’est construit un parcours singulier et résolument indépendant. Reconnu pour l’intensité de ses performances live, le groupe se distingue par ses guitares aux sonorités proches de la mandoline, ses textes évocateurs et ses rythmiques sombres aux accents jazz.
Avec une discographie riche de 17 albums studio, And Also The Trees continue d’explorer un univers atmosphérique et intemporel. Leur nouvel album, paru fin février, sera présenté sur scène le 25 septembre au Botanique, lors d’un concert qui promet de retrouver un public fidèle et passionné.

And Also the Trees werd opgericht in 1979, tijdens het postpunk-tijdperk, in Worcestershire, Engeland. Ze staan bekend om hun meeslepende liveoptredens, hun unieke stijl met mandoline en elektrische gitaar, hun sugestieve teksten, hun donkere jazzritmes en hun zorgvuldig bewaarde onafhankelijkheid.
And Also the Trees brengt eind februari hun 17de album uit en komt het op 25 september voorstellen aan hun trouwe Brusselse publiek in de Botanique.
