Come in to make a 20" x 13" functional solid wood serving tray. The studio will help you draw or pick a mosaic design for a piece. Students will be given a supply allowance to pick up special beads, decorations, and glass objects to add to their piece. Trays will have to be left in the studio overnight to dry and the studio will grout them the next day and contact students for pick up. Students can pick what color grout they want including white, black, or dark gray glass. The base of the tray is this cherry wood color pictured.
These trays will be functional for serving or use in the kitchen, the studio will apply a grout sealant to them which will help with wiping the surface clean but it is not recommended these be submerged in water or left outside for long periods of time where they are exposed to excess moisture to ensure the long life of the project.
