Ancestry on a Shared Plate Dinner
The idea for an "ancestral food" evening came from a talk over dinner one night on how food bridges different cultures, philosophies, and even religions. Sharing food allows people to learn about and appreciate our own diverse backgrounds as well as other ways of life.
Our Food Stories
Our korero will be led by our co-host Vivian sharing her passion for food, connection and learning - then its relaxed conversations at the table.
Bring a Plate to Share
Bring a dish that is part of your ancestral background and we'll share. It can be very recent or reflect the distant past. Dinner will be fun, convivial, relaxed and delicious!
BYO wine and drinks. Water, tea and coffee will be available.
