What Are Your Roots?:Ancestor Healing for QTPOC

We invite you to join us in sacred community with the Witch and Healer Collective.  Together, we’ll explore the heart and intention of Ancestor Healing work: remembering where we come from, tending to what we carry, and restoring relationship with our ancestors and the lands that hold us.

This evening will focus on ancestral healing and how this work can deepen connection, purpose, and belonging in your own life. We’ll discuss our own practices and lineages, and engage in a ritual for strengthening this connection. 

All are welcome — whether you’re feeling the first stirrings of curiosity or already walking your own ancestral path. Come learn, listen, and connect with community. As we gather, we honor the wisdom of those who came before us and the possibility of what we can root together moving forward.

Facilitator Bios:

Bex Mui, M. Ed, (she/her) is a queer witch, energy worker, and DEI consultant committed to the work of LGBTQ+ affirmation. Bex draws on her biracial, Chinese & Polish, first-and third-generation roots in her spiritual practices and offerings. In 2021, Bex founded House Of Our Queer, committed to the spiritual health well-being of the LGBTIA+ community.

Danyelle Caruthers, ASW, MPA, (she/her) is a Black|Queer|Femme tarot reader and psychotherapist working to support folx on their journeys of holistic transformation. As a cartomancer, healer, and diviner, she draws from ancestral traditions, including Hoodoo, Catholicism, and sacred holidays to serve her communities.

This event is open to all QTPOC individuals who are seeking to deepen their understanding of their ancestral heritage and cultivate a stronger sense of self.
