Anatomy of a Fragment featuring Gonzalo Pizarro

Anatomy of a Fragment is the first major public exhibition in Vail featuring the work of internationally recognized Argentine artist Gonzalo Pizarro.

Working in ink and charcoal on OSB board, Pizarro transforms industrial material into powerful contemporary compositions. Rather than fragmenting a finished form, his figures emerge from structural units that gradually assemble into fully realized forms.

Originally from Argentina and now based in Vail, Pizarro has drawn global attention for establishing a singular contemporary aesthetic rooted in OSB. Presented within the intimate setting of Moon Rabbit inside Chasing Rabbits and curated by Artist Replete, this exhibition brings together a focused and commanding body of work by an innovative voice in contemporary art.
