Anatomy of a 1-4 Contract

The TREC 1–4 Family Residential Contract is the most widely used contract in Texas real estate transactions. This course provides a paragraph-by-paragraph breakdown of the key terms negotiated in most home sales, including financing, earnest money, option periods, repairs, closing, and possession.

Agents will gain practical insight to better guide clients through negotiations, understand when an offer becomes a contract, how offers may be withdrawn, and how to navigate multiple-offer situations. This course strengthens the essential skills Texas REALTORS® use every day when representing buyers and sellers.
