"Join us Thursday December 11th for a performance from Royal's new album and a convivial hang afterwards.This exclusive limited 12" vinyl edition is a deeply personal collection of original compositions by Royal, blending the gravitas and timeless beauty of select classical pieces.It is also a balance of heartfelt expression and homage. Across 21 tracks, "Unaccompanied" capture the tactile intimacy of a solo performance -- each piece unguarded, unaccompanied, unadorned -- each note its own companion.
is a multi-genre artist, classically-trained, award-winning pianist and singer-songwriter. Trained by Hungarian teacher Lili Simon who was a pupil of Bela Bartok, Royal's music creates layered moods, builds emotional worlds, and contributes a deep, distinct, and authentic aesthetic. Royal performs her music throughout Europe and in the Chicago-area, including being a regular at Billy Corgan's Madame Zuzu's.
