About this Event
On Thursday January 8th, The Museum of Reclaimed Urban Space is hosting a post-holiday season panel featuring ghosts from radical bookstores past! The discussion will navigate through a history of local neighborhood bookstores from the 90's. What challenges did they face? Why did they close? And is there room for a new radical bookstore in the Lower East Side of today or tomorrow? How can we help?
Guest panelists include merchants from bookstores past, present, and future. More details are coming next week, stay tuned. Until then, see you at this weekend's Morus Holiday Market where you can check out FLY's newest zines and browse through our selection of radical books for sale!
