What if we just start building?

Data sovereignty is a hot topic, but the conversation tends to get stuck on challenges and limitations. We want to find out what is actually possible. How far can you get when you work together, in a limited amount of time, to set up a European analytics infrastructure where not a single byte leaves the EU?

That is what we are going to find out.

From June 2 to 4, we are hosting Analytics Hackathon: Built in Europe. A technical and jurisdictional challenge for everyone who believes sovereign analytics does not have to be a dream. You will build in teams, inside secure European cloud environments, with more than 20 industry experts by your side. On June 4, we come together in person at Relevant Online's office in Utrecht to hear Jeroen Bos speak on data sovereignty, finalize your work as a team, present your solution and exchange ideas and insights with fellow builders.

Are you in?

We ask for a small registration fee of €5 to keep participation intentional and minimise no-shows. Our goal is not to make money. All proceeds will be donated to , a foundation that provides laptops to children living in poverty in the Netherlands. A good cause that fits right in with what we are building here.

Info: Build freely. Work with your team and implement your solution at your own pace. Join when you can, build as much as you want. Fully remote.

Info: We get together in person at Relevant Online's office in Utrecht. The day kicks off with lunch and an opening keynote from Jeroen Bos and Edwin Kuipers on European data sovereignty in practice, followed by a final build session to put the finishing touches on your project. We wrap up with project presentations and drinks from 16:00 onwards.
