About this Event
Gloucester is going through something of a resurgence with various development project that have taken place over the last couple of decades starting with the redevelopment of the docks and Gloucester Quays and leading up to the more recent redevelopment of Kings Square, the renovation of the University Capus (formally Debenhams) and the construction of the Forum.
This exhibit celebrates the redevelopment of these environments by capturing them on film in black and white. remaining as true as possible films are developed through a chemical process and then scanned and printed onto large canvases for exhibition.
none of the photos are edited or enhanced digitally, so the images displayed are a true representation of what was captured on the day.
Tea and coffee is available at the venue.
About me:
I’ve been a keen amateur photographer for a number of years largely working with 35mm film in black and white as well as the process of taking pictures I also enjoy the art of developing them and following the processes to achieve the best results.
I work in the property management industry and enjoy landscape photography particularly buildings applying my knowledge of structure to my pictures.
