About this Event
Incombe Hole is a steep-sided coombe on the south-west side of Steps Hill, part of the Ivinghoe National Trust site. It supports a rich diversity of chalk grassland and scrub species.
We will explore the site, looking for its spring butterflies. We hope to find both Dingy and Grizzled Skipper, as well as the scarce Duke of Burgundy and Marsh Fritillary.
Accessibility & risks: Steep slopes, rabbit holes and other trip hazards. Please check for ticks after the walk and let the leader know if you have picked up any ticks.
Please check here the evening before the event to make sure it is going ahead as planned. This page will be updated regularly.
Meet in the National Trust car park.
