Get the best view possible at the Annual Liberty Arts Iron Pour! Enjoy drinks and hor d'ouevres overlooking the park.The park views from the sixth floor terrace of Foster on the Park are fabulous at any time - but what about at sunset - and on the evening of the Liberty Arts Iron Pour?
The Hickoks, friends of the park and residents of the building, invite you to a festive evening with a bird's eye view. The party will be in The Overlook, an open air terrace on the top floor facing the Durham Central Park pavilion.
Heavy hor d'oeuvres will be procured from neighborhood restaurants. Refreshments will include beer, wine and soft drinks.
The sun sets at 6:05 and the "fireworks" begin soon afterward. Join us!
This event is part of the Parties for the Park fundraisers for Durham Central Park. Durham Central Park is a 5-acre city park that is managed, programmed and developed by Durham Central Park, Inc. (DCP, Inc.) a 501c3 non-profit organization. DCP, Inc. receives no direct funding from the City of Durham, all of the funds raised to operate the park come from donations, grants, sponsorships and fundraisers like these.
