About this Event
Join Us for An Introduction to Self-Love and Self-Compassion Workshop
In this guided session, we’ll explore what 'self-love' means- not as a vague ideal or another thing to get “right,” but as an ongoing relationship with ourselves rooted in understanding, acceptance, and emotional safety.
Through reflective journaling and guided visualisation, you’ll be supported to reconnect with your inner world and begin relating to yourself in a kinder, more supportive way.
What to expect:
- A calm, supportive therapeutic space (facilitated by Joanna, a person-centred creative and compassion focused therapist)
- Gentle guidance on what self-love really means (and what it doesn’t)
- Reflective journalling prompts to deepen self-understanding
- A guided visualisation to support inner connection and compassion
- No pressure to share, as participation is always at your own pace
- Refreshments (tea, coffee, soothing herbal teas and biscuits) included.
Accessibility:
This workshop will take place on the ground floor, with access to an accessible bathroom on the same level. The session includes optional writing activities; you are welcome to write using pen and paper, a mobile device, or to participate in another way that feels comfortable for you. If you have any accessibility needs or would like to discuss possible adjustments, please feel free to get in touch and we’ll do our best to support you.
