About this Event
In this course, we will read together and examine Jane Austen’s writings, beginning with a look at her juvenilia. We will read and examine all of her major novels and conclude with a look at later writings.
The course will run for two hours every Saturday, beginning at 12pm EST and concluding at 2pm EST.
Each session will include a 1-hour lecture and a 1-hour discussion session, during which participants can raise questions and present their perspective on the texts that we are reading.

Pride and Prejudice (1813)
Mansfield Park (1814)
Emma (1815)
Northanger Abbey (1817)
Persuasion (1817)
Lady Susan
Participants should aim to have read the texts prior to the class meetings.
There will also be optional critical readings provided.
