Neighbor x Folk welcomes you to join us on May 30th, 2026 for an intimate conversation with Pulitzer Prize nominated journalist & award winning author, Desiree Cooper.
Join us in the historic South Atrium of Michigan Central for an intimate reading and conversation as we dive into Desiree's latest work, Black Summers .

These pages are a hymn to sunlight, laughter, and possibility." - Rue Mapp (Founder and CEO, Outdoor Afro)
