Join us for a heartfelt evening celebrating the life and music of Jim Post, featuring Randy Sabien, Jeff Laramie, and Dawn Farris.Sabien, a renowned jazz violinist, composer, and educator, has performed internationally and recorded extensively with labels like Flying Fish Records and Red House Records. At just 21, he founded and chaired the Jazz Strings department at Berklee College of Music in Boston, and later served as chair of the Strings department at McNally Smith College of Music.
Jim Post, who spent many years in Galena, left a lasting mark on the community and its music scene. He is fondly remembered for bringing Randy to Galena for memorable performances in the past, making this tribute especially meaningful.
