Hi all ...With huge apologies this event, which was first advertised for 30th May has, for reasons beyond our control, had to be moved to Friday 19th June...An evening of Sea Songs and Shanties, with a traditional fish* pie supper.
Eat, drink and be merry as you join us for this annual fun-filled evening in aid of the oldest surviving Brixham sailing trawler, built right here in the heart of the town back in 1895 and still sailing today, 'Pilgrim of Brixham, BM45'.
Born from an idea amongst the volunteer crew of Pilgrim to sing a few songs together, the Brixham Pilgrims are now a well established local band, attending numerous events throughout the year and with an ever-expanding repertoire, sometimes straying into folk, but never stretching too far from the sea.
Tickets available by donation of just £10, from which the entire value will go to the Pilgrim Heritage Sailing Foundation, the charity responsible for maintaining and running our beautiful and nationally important heritage vessel.
Excellent food and drink provided by our friends at the yacht club, and please bring some cash for a raffle on the night.
We look forward to seeing you there!
