Charlotte-based therapist and TEDx speaker brings her debut book home to Mooresville for an evening conversation on boundaries, burnout, and the cost of being the one who always handles it.
Leah Marone, LCSW, a licensed psychotherapist with more than twenty years of clinical experience and author of Serial Fixer: Break Free From the Habit of Solving Other People's Problems (Broadleaf Books, November 2025), will appear at Fred & June's Books on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. for a moderated conversation, audience Q&A, and book signing.
Serial Fixer is written for high performers, caregivers, and leaders who have built their identities on being the one who holds it together. Drawing on two decades of clinical practice, a D1 athletic background, and 70+ speaking engagements in 2025 alone, Marone unpacks the clinical roots of over-functioning and introduces the Support, don't Solve⢠framework: validate, empathize, inquire, motivate, and reconnect.
