Join us for An Evening with Naomi Oreskes, who will be giving a public lecture on "How Free Market Thinking Has Blocked Climate Action". The lecture will feature Q&A, a book signing, and refreshments including beer and wine.
Naomi Oreskes is the Henry Charles Lea Professor of the History of Science and Affiliated Professor of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Harvard University. She is an internationally renowned earth scientist, historian, and author of both scholarly and popular books and articles on the history of earth and environmental sciences.
This event is part of the Aldo Leopold Distinguished Lecture Series at the University of Northern Iowa.

The Naomi Oreskes lecture is funded in part by the Roy J Carver Charitable Trust , the UNI Center for Energy and Environmental Education, and the UNI Faculty Senate.
