Spend an evening with bestselling author Kate Bowler, whose work insists that joy is still possible even when life refuses to cooperate. Kate returns to her hometown of Winnipeg to invite us into a conversation about joy that doesn’t require pretending everything is fine. Kate Bowler is the four-time New York Times bestselling author of , , , , Blessed and The Preacher's Wife, and hosts the popular podcast . She is a professor of history at Duke University and shuttles home to Winnipeg for the summer with her husband and son.
