About this Event
How do you rebuild your life, when suddenly everything changes? How do you start to make sense of this new world you inhabit, this new path you didn’t know you had to walk down. Who are you now? Who do you trust? How do you recover? Will the pain ever go away?
Comedian, author and award-winning podcaster (Scummy Mummies) Helen Thorn faced just that in the wake of divorce and losing her mother. Now she welcomes you to join her for an uplifting and inspirational event as she shares the building blocks for recovery to guide you through a new phase of your life and empower you to become a stronger, more badass you!
In this event, Helen and a *special guest* (to be announced) will share their moving stories of how they not only survived, but thrived, and discovered strength, courage and happiness they didn’t know existed along the way. Their heart-warming, practical wisdom, hard-won advice, and honest and hilarious confessions will leave you feeling inspired and ready to get back up and rebuild your life.
The event will include an audience Q&A section, and a book signing
Helen Thorn is an award-winning comedian, podcaster and Sunday Times-bestselling author. She is one half of the successful comedy duo Scummy Mummies and travels around the UK performing in a gold catsuit. She is widely known for her honest and hilarious takes on parenthood, fitness and being a single mum. After her divorce, she went from being a broken mess to becoming a marathon-running enthusiast, and has recently completed all the World Majors. She lives in London in a wonky wooden house with two teens and two fat cats. She is five (ten) minutes late to everything and never has a clean kitchen table.
