Dana built a large Texas following during the 70's and 80's as part of the Shake Russell/Dana Cooper Band. He's appeared on Austin City Limits and collaborated with artists such as Kim Carnes, Lyle Lovett, Susan Werner, Hal Ketchum, and more. Dana has over thirty albums to his credit, and his latest, "the Ghost of Tucumcari" features some all star singers and musicians including Lyle Lovett, Hayes Carl, Susan Gibson, Shake Russell, and Libby Koch.
