Adrian Tchaikovsky joins us to celebrate his return to the world of the Arthur C Clarke Award winning Children of Time with his new novel Children of Strife.
Children of Strife delivers another epic and spectacular instalment in Tchaikovsky's space opera series, expanding the universe both in scope and in history, on the huge canvas and with the scientific and intellectual rigour he brings to all his work. Following a prickly mantis shrimp captain, an eerily calm AI, and a human with issues of her own, Children of Strife is both intensely human and brilliantly alien.
Adrian will be joining us to discuss writing alien minds, his ideas of humanity and sapience, creating huge universes, and keeping real stakes for individuals against vast canvases, before signing copies of his books.
