We are excited to welcome the 'Future of Photography' to deliver an inspirational seminar on her stunning Macro/ Wildlife Photography: "My Life so Far".

A little more on Jamie:

"I’m a young wildlife photographer from the UK who simply loves being outdoors and noticing the small details that make nature so special. I first picked up a camera when I was six, and ever since then I’ve enjoyed learning, practising, and spending as much time as I can watching animals and the world around me.

Over the years, I’ve been incredibly lucky to have some of my photos recognised, including winning the Wildlife Photographer of the Year (10 and Under) category and being the overall winner of the British Wildlife Photography Awards. I’m grateful for these opportunities, but I still feel like I’m just at the beginning of my journey, with so much more to learn.

I mainly shoot with my Nikon Z9, exploring everything from macro details to birds and wildlife in motion. What I love most about photography is how it helps me slow down, pay attention, and appreciate things many people might walk past.

I hope my images encourage others — especially young people — to look a little closer at the natural world and feel inspired to care for it."

This is a Seated Seminar in Carmarthen Camera Centre - spaces are limmited to 50.
