Cats Corner is partnering with Tom and Analii Stermitz - www.tango.org - for an evening of Tango and Swing.

The evening kicks off with a beginner Tango lesson at 5pm that will introduce beginners to the dance and give experienced Tango dancers an invaluable review of fundamentals. No experience or partner required.
Following the lesson will be a mix of tango and swing music from 6-8pm.
Cats Corner instructors will be available to teach new dancers the basics of swing.
$10 includes the lesson and dance.
This dance is part of a series of monthly dances where Cats Corner will pair swing dancing with another partner dance featuring local Fort Collins dance organizations. Stay tuned for updates regarding next month's dance!

The Denver Diamond Dolls are a community devoted to empowerment through solo dancing with an emphasis in African American vernacular jazz of the swing era.
Their performance, 🎀 𝒮𝓌𝑒𝑒𝓉𝒽𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓉𝓈 𝑜𝓃 𝒫𝒶𝓇𝒶𝒹𝑒 🎀, is a playful and vibrant solo jazz routine that was inspired by the master of the “vibes” (vibraphone), Lionel Hampton choreographed by Stephanie Quon.

Tom Stermitz was a founding member of Tango Colorado and he has 25 years of experience teaching Argentine Tango. Analii brings to her Argentine Tango dancing the experience of a life-long dancer from Hula to Ballet to Contemporary Dance.
