She is the founder of Lonesome Press; indie press, poetry & fine art journal and mercurial reading series. Monique has appeared in The New York Times, New York Magazine, Paper Magazine, and LIVE Mag! She reads regularly on the New York poetry circuit, and lives on the Wappinger Creek with her family.
