Gypsey Elaine Teague is a graduate of Plymouth State College; B.S. English Education, 1974. She holds advanced degrees in Landscape Architecture, Regional and City Planning, Library and Information Sciences; all from the University of Oklahoma, a Masters of Business Administration from Oklahoma City University, and a Masters of Mental Health Education from Clemson University. With her wife Marla she operates an Agro-educational Icelandic farm in Northeast Florida where they teach leather, wood, metal, glass, and fiber. When time permits, they travel to Iceland to research the land and the history. She is a retired Icelandic tour guide. When not writing, and often when she is, she spends her time in the Society for Creative Anachronism where she is known as Baroness Birna Isleifsdottir, Order of the Laurel. Gypsey is the author of 50 books. Most notable are Norse Divination, The Witches Guide to Wands, Three Years of Winter, and Untangled in Blue: A Study of the Archaeological Ketilsstaðir Iceland Grave Dig and a Practical Review of the Process & Creation of the Items Within, Broom Magic, and Norse Cosmology: A Compendium.
