Join acclaimed international tenor Mario Arévalo and pianist Daniel Escudero for a vibrant recital celebrating the music of Latin America. Featuring works by composers from Venezuela, Colombia, El Salvador, the Dominican Republic, and beyond, this colorful program brings the rhythms, stories, and soul of the region to life in an evening that has delighted audiences across the United States and abroad.

Please enter the John Knox Village campus from the Main Gate on SW 3rd Avenue (directions are below).

DIRECTIONS TO JKV MAIN GATE

400 SW 3rd Street, Pompano Beach, FL 33060

Take I-95 to Exit 36 - Atlantic Blvd. When you exit, head east on Atlantic Blvd. to Dixie Highway. Turn right (south) at Dixie Highway and get into your right-hand lane. At SW 3rd Street, turn right (west) and get into your left-hand lane. When you see the Guard Gate, turn left.

Directions from the Main Guard Gate on SW 3rd Street to the Cultural Arts Center

Once you pass through the main guard gate, follow the road (don’t drive faster than 14 MPH!!), go around the traffic circle, and then, at the dead end, make a right. Go past Westlake Towers on your left, and then the Pavilion building will be on your left.

Directions from the Dixie Highway Gate to the Cultural Arts Center

Once you pass through the Dixie Highway Gate, follow the road (SW 6th Street) past the Aquatic Center, past Cassels Tower. Turn right at SE 5th Circle. Follow this road past Gardens’ West, Seaside Cove, and at the Fitness Studio turn right. Go past the Fitness Studio and Trustbridge and then The Pavilion will be on your right.
