The Understudies invites you to An Evening at the Speakeasy on Saturday, August 1 from 7 PM to 11 PM. Dress for the occasion and come ready to dance, mingle, or just enjoy the atmosphere!Immerse yourself in the moment amid soft lights and music from bygone eras - a little swing, a little jazz and some slow, sultry love songs to set the mood. Live musical performances of timeless classics also will be featured throughout the evening.
Light snacks, soda, mocktails, beer, wine, and cocktails will be available for an additional charge.
The host venue for this event is The Copper Daisy located at 209-B 10th St. in North Wilkesboro.
This is a 21 and older event. Be sure to bring your photo ID with you.
Tickets are $15 each. ADVANCE PURCHASE IS REQUIRED
All proceeds benefit The Understudies Production Company, Inc. in support of its mission to keep theatre in the community and the community in theatre.
The Understudies is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving Wilkes County, North Carolina.
**OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION*
To match the tone of our event, we ask that guests dress in smart casual or semi-formal attire (no t-shirts or torn jeans, please). Feel free to wear period attire from the 1920s, if you wish!
After purchasing your ticket(s), you will receive a confirmation email with a super-secret, speakeasy password. Use this word at the door for one free entry in the raffle prize drawing!
We will accept cash, debit, and most credit cards to purchase concessions.
Must be 21 or older to attend. ID will be required for entry.
Parking is available on the 10th Street side of the building as well as in the lower parking lot at the back of the building. There are entrances at both the front and the back of the building.
