A Sunday afternoon Collegiate Shag workshop with Swing! Sheffield, Swing!This will be a 3 hour improver/intermediate workshop, 1-4pm, including a 15/20 minute break halfway through (ish). The workshop is £30, students £22, with an early bird discount of £5/4 (tickets purchased through DanceCloud). The price includes entry to the tea dance following straight after at 4pm (please see separate event page for more details https://fb.me/e/6gebmzSiE).
The workshop is aimed at dancers who are comfortable transitioning between the main Shag holds. You know how to follow/lead/implement foot patterns, styling and musicality outside of the basic double-time rhythm. We won’t be teaching the basics in this workshop. Our aim is to limit numbers in order to maximise learning and personalised feedback.
The scout guy is on Canterbury Road in Meersbrook (S8 9QS). There is limited parking on the road itself, but plenty on nearby roads.
