On Wednesday 15th April 2026, between 1-30pm and 5pm, the Society will be sharing a FREE event with Family Tree Maker when the company will be giving a presentation of their well known genealogy product. This is a hands-on training session and will include live demonstrations, a question and answer session with time for anyone needing direct help with Family Tree Maker on their laptops.The venue is St Michael’s Centre, North Road, Stoke Gifford, BS34 8PD in the Lower Hall. Refreshments are provided and lunch can be purchased at the nearby Tesco Express.
The venue is situated a short walk (3 or 4 minutes via the old churchyard) from Bristol Parkway station and buses M4, Y6, 19, 70 and 74 stop outside the station. Car parking in the area is very limited so arriving by public transport is a good option.
