About this Event
The Solebury Township Historical Society presents an afternoon at what was once the Hard Times Tavern and later called the Camel Inn. The owners have graciously offered an exclusive STHS opportunity to visit this significant historical property which was owned by the industrious John Kenderdine with his mills along the Cuttalossa creek in the 1830's. The tavern, now a single family residence was built in 1758 and was also owned by landscape impressionist artist William Francis Talyor starting in the 1930's and began operating the Cuttalossa Inn across the street. Much more history to be discussed. This event will be limited to 25 attendees.
